So we here at the Christmas guys just don’t do Christmas light installation and hang Christmas lights in the Albany, NY and Clifton Park, NY areas. We love pretty much all aspects about Christmas. Matt got his son an Elf on the Shelf 3 seasons ago in 2012. Since then my son and family have had an amazing time with it. I will be posting some Elf on the Shelf Ideas here when I come across ones I like.
This year is the second year now that my sons Elf has sent him a letter from the north pole! How cool is that? He is 6 years old and absolutely loves getting the letter. We just gave it to him a couple weeks before Thanksgiving. The letter lets him know what his elf has been up to and when to expect to see him again hiding in the house, which for us is always the Friday morning after Thanksgiving. It comes in an envelope with some sort of Christmas tree decoration attached or taped to it and this year the Elf on the Shelf even brought him a pack of Pokemon cards right out of Santas present sack!
