What to put in your Christmas light quote request
The form asks for a few basics. The more you give, the closer the first estimate:
- Your town, and the street if you're comfortable sharing it
- How many stories the house has
- What to light: roofline, trees and shrubs, wreaths and garland, windows, walkways
- Your preferred install date
- Photos of the house, if you have them handy; they can come later
Not sure how much to light? The Christmas light installation cost guide explains what moves the price, and permanent Christmas lights covers the year-round option.
What happens after you ask for a Christmas light quote
We pass your request to a local installer who covers your town. The installer follows up by phone or email to confirm the details, may ask for photos or a quick look at the house, and then gives you a price. You decide whether to book. If you're aiming for lights by Thanksgiving, read when to put up Christmas lights: October requests tend to get the best November dates.
